With phone manufacturers trying to save space to make phones smaller, they are reducing the number of ports on a phone to just one USB C port. This means that adapters have to be purchased in order to use accessories etc. The USB Type C to 3.5mm audio splitter cable splits an audio signal over two sockets for use with 3.5mm stereo equipment.

NOTE: This audio adapter will not work with phones/tablets etc that have a 3.5mm port as well as a USB C Port, the phones cannot detect the USB C adapter and defaults to speaker.
