Joining the flagship Observatory line-up, the Kolink Observatory Z Mesh RGB Mid Tower Case features a range of improvements and upgrades. Innovative and easy to use, this versatile steel chassis includes access to the PSU from the back of the case and a sliding metal rail. Plus, with its carefully curated interior design, there is ample support for modern and future hardware to be showcased by the tempered glass side panel. For your convenience, this panel is hinged and easily opened with the quick-release mechanism. This case is an excellent choice for RGB lovers and hardware enthusiasts, alike.
The Kolink Observatory Z Mesh RGB has been carefully balanced to provide accommodation for hardware with incredible natural airflow. The front mesh panel is elevated by innovative ventilation, for superior cooling and a sleek appearance. Strategically placed across the chassis, there are metal dust covers to promote airflow whilst preventing particles in your PC. All of this is further bolstered by the integrated four Kolink Umbra Void RGB PWM 120mm fans, three mounted on the front panel and the fourth upon the rear. Pairing curved blades and a hydraulic bearing, these fans operate effectively and efficiently. Speeds vary with workload intensity, up to 1500RPM, providing whisper-quiet operation when the fans are not needed.
Alternatively, there is additional support for fans and radiators across the chassis, allowing you to enhance air cooling or install custom water-cooling loops. Upon the front panel, there is accommodation for three 120mm, three 140mm, or even two 200mm fans. As such, there is support for up to a showstopping 420mm radiator on the front panel. The top panel can host three 120mm or two 140mm fans, with the corresponding 360mm or 280mm radiator sizes. Finally, on the rear, there is a single mount that holds either a fan or radiator measuring 120mm or 140mm.
Altogether, the Kolink Observatory Z Mesh RGB provides great flexibility when it comes to your gaming PC’s thermal solution. There is clearance for a CPU cooler up to 180mm, covering many of the models available currently.
Optimising the ATX form factor, the Kolink Observatory Z Mesh RGB Mid Tower Case features seven expansion slots, with a further three featured for vertical GPU mounting. Additionally, an anti-sag L-bracket for longer and heavier models is included, allowing you to take full advantage of the 380mm clearance for GPUs. This case can accommodate up to an E-ATX motherboard, granting you incredible flexibility for your hardware configuration.
The PSU shroud opens on the rear panel and provides space for a power supply up to 200mm in length. Additionally, drive storage is located within the shroud, keeping the PC interior sleek and tidy. This drive cage can hold either two 2.5” SSDs or two 3.5” HDDs. Plus, this drive cage can be moved to allow more space for the power supply or any water-cooling hardware. Further storage support can be found on the backplate behind the motherboard, able to accommodate either three 2.5” SSDs or two 3.5” HDDs.
Thanks to the all-black aesthetic, the Kolink Observatory Z Mesh RGB Mid Tower is the perfect backdrop for your RGB lighting. The included Kolink Umbra Void fans feature 12 aRGB LEDs and an infinity effect mirror on the central hub, to create a cosmic glow. This lighting can be configured with a wide range of colours and effects in one of two ways. Firstly, there is the Kolink Umbra aRGB Controller, with a downloadable software. Alternatively, utilising the 3-pin 5V aRGB headers on your motherboard, you can operate the lighting through a compatible RGB software.
To keep the interior tidy, the Kolink Observatory Z Mesh RGB features a hidden section dedicated to cable management. Nestled behind the main chamber, this compartment has 30mm of space and three Velcro ties for organising cables. This then, conveniently, feeds the cables directly to the motherboard, with the I/O panel situated above it. Keeping you well connected, this panel features a USB 3.2 Gen 2, two USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, and HD audio.
