This is a BD / DVD drive but has a fault in that admittedly it does not recognise BD discs.
It was a fault from new and admittedly the product sat around and was forgotten to get returned and is now passed warranty.
It does play CDs / Audio CDs absolutely fine though, so ideal for someone perhaps building a Streacom case or similar that needs a slim slot-feed optical drive and only wants it for music.
Putting in a DVD or BD the drive spins up but doesn't recognise anything being there on the computer. Putting in a CD or CD-R and it reads /plays fine.
Usually a £60 item but price adjusted accordingly since some of the main features don't function!
Note that this model does not include a bezel or eject button - eject from the operating system by right clicking on the drive and choosing eject.
