Description
This small fan is great for cooling chipsets, hard drives and for providing cooling for home theatre PCs (HTPCs) or small form factor cases, since it moves a high amount of air while emitting low levels of noise. Spinning at 4000RPM, this fan can move 18.7 cubic feet per minute (CFM) of air, which generates fantastic airflow despite its size. Although the fan spins at such a high RPM it is nearly completely silent, with only 18.7dBA noise created.
With plenty of airflow generated by this fan, it is best to locate it in open locations where little is obstructing the fan. You could use the fan as an exhaust fan for your rig, or as an intake fan for side panels or the bottom of your case.
